Concerning Covid-19 & Golfer Safety

In light of Covid-19, we are taking action to provide you with the safest environment possible at RiverRidge. We have taken the following precautions:

1. The flagsticks on the practice putting green have been removed.
2. Do not touch the flagsticks on the golf course.
3. Removed bunker rakes. Please take the time to smooth the sand with your feet. This will keep our course beautiful while minimizing contact.
4. Golf carts are being sanitized after each use.
5. One player per golf car (immediate family members may share golf car)
6. No push/pull cart rentals
7. Customers must practice social distancing when visiting the facility (staying at least six feet away from others)
8. Encouraging customers to pay for green fees over the phone
9. Requesting customers to limit time spent in the Golf Shop. Limit three customers at a time.
10. No cash accepted
11. Closed Learning Center
12. No rental or loaner clubs available
13. No coffee, hot tea, or hot chocolate service available

Frost Delay – Tuesday, February 25

What’s happenin’?

Weather forecast predicts another beautiful February day…but it’s a bit of a frosty morning.  Hopefully the golf course will open around 10 AM but the driving range is good to go.

Frost Delay – Wednesday, February 19

What’s happenin’?

Thank you to Jeff Parker from Silvan Ridge Winery and Pete Eastwood with Cleveland Golf for helping with last night’s National Drink Wine Day event!  These gentlemen braved the frigid conditions to ensure attendees were properly wined and wedged.

Another frost delay today.  Wednesday morning is typically when we perform driving range maintenance (mow, sand and seed divots, etc.) and we have some work we need to get done but will open the driving range by 11:30 AM.  The sun is shining so fingers crossed we can open the golf course by 10 AM.

Beautiful weather forecasted today!  Time to dust off the sticks and play some golf.

What’s happenin’?

I hope you had a superb Presidents Day weekend!  RiverRidge is currently experiencing a frost delay.  The driving range is open but the golf course, putting green, and Short Game Practice Area are closed until at least 10 AM.

Remember to join us for National Drink Wine Day tonight from 4:30 to 6:30 PM in the Learning Center!  Taste some Silvan Ridge wines while you demo the latest Cleveland Golf wedges.

Super Bowl Shamble

Sunday, February 2nd | 9am Registration | 10am Shotgun | $35 entry fee per player

(includes nine-hole green fee, morning mimosa bar, driving range balls, drink ticket, and prizes)

Payment due by Friday, January 31.

Format: Four-Person Shamble

Each player on the team tees off, the team selects the best shot, and

each player hits the next shot from the best shot location. Each

player uses his/her own ball for the remainder of the hole. The two

lowest scores on each hole will count towards the team total.
